Lil Wayne - My Homies Still (Explicit) ft. Big Sean
this is a weird video. Has nothing to do with the song, which is wack. Shot really well. And released three days before 12 people were killed in a movie theater by a guy who hates rap music. Everything is a conspiracy these days.

Preservation Hall Jazz Band - St James Infirmary
I have a soft spot for this song, I'm not totally sure when this version was recorded.

The thing about travel is things stick with you when you have no idea. I can't say I was that interested in New Orleans jazz until I went there and heard it. And when I say heard it, I mean everywhere, music was the lifeblood of the city. More than the food, culture and even the flood. It was what kept everyone sane. Everyone played something, and live music was available every night all night. It was so present, that it clearly has its own identity and I can pick it out anywhere now. It was simply one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
