I'm having one of those moments where I ask myself WHY DIDN'T I GO BUY A CD WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE?!?!?!?
She opened for The Black Keys and was really dope, but the album doesn't come out until January, which I didn't know (I'm not big on epic lines unless I REALLY have to use the bathroom).
Anyway I can't find the album via my usual routes so I will have to wait, but until then she offers a free single in the genre of "psychedelic blues" I like.

This is a Bill Withers cover, so amazing. I love John Legend, I want him to have my babies. But also, this song shouldn't still be appropriate, you'd think we'd have learned something about war since the Vietnam war.

Who's absolutely amazing live?
The Black Keys.
There's no words to describe the stage presence and capture they put upon the crowd, but these two hold you in the palm of their hands until the end of the night and you never want them to let go. I'm personally a fan of ten Cent Pistol and I'll Be Your Man, those were the best performances in my opinion. Too Afraid To Love you would be close third. If you can, catch them on this tour. I was so happy i was nerdy and got my tix hella early.

Edwyn Collins - Losing Sleep
This new album is good. I fell in love with him by the song A Girl Like You, and I was waiting to hear him again. This new album has rockabilly and 80's pop all wrapped in an aged Johnny Cash voice. It's pretty amazing lyrically too, well worth the wait but does seem it should have been released in the summer. Some of the album is overproduced for his voice in my opinion, like Amy Winehouse style instrumentals when I think he's really great acoustically. But at least it's original and sounds different.
I think it's entertaining and worth $10

I love this song, and I love the movie The Lady From Shanghai with Rita Hayworth directed by Orson Welles in 1948. It seemed to me that these scenes fit this song well.

Grimy Land Mix
So I found this guy on Twitter (@PoirierSound) and he's REALLY DOPE. His remixes are amazing, I was in a d&b grime kinda mood and it just appeared.
