New Orleans!
I spent a week in New Orleans and musically that city is like nowhere I've ever been. Music is everywhere, it's lived, breathed, appreciated, expected and respected. It's amazing. I went days without hearing ANY hip hop in public, I don't think you inderstand what a feat that is! Jazz in the streets!!
I would like to introduce you to two of my greatest finds there:
Trombone Shorty & Lagniappe Brass Band
Shorty's new album just dropped and the record shop I bough tit from was excited because they said he was probably the next prodigy, they've known him since he was so little his brass was bigger than he was.
I now heart you NOLA and now I understand
